Are meals included?
Depending on what you are looking for in a retreat, meals can be provided. We have a minimum of 10 people required to provide meals. Check out our Retreat & Rentals pricing for package deals and individual meal pricing.

What does a typical retreat look like?
We offer a wide range of camp experiences and take pride in customizing each one to meet your group’s unique needs and desires. Here are the options available to you:

- Facility Rental: Simply rent our facilities and manage all aspects of your retreat, or opt to have our food service staff provide meals.
- Retreat Partnership: Book a retreat and hire our staff to assist with programming for your group.
- Full Collaboration: Work closely with us to create a fully programmed retreat, where we support you with registration, programming, staffing, and any other needs you may have.
What time is Check-In and Check-Out?
Arrival for groups is no earlier than 4pm on check-in day, unless otherwise discussed with the Associate or Executive Director. Departure for groups is no later than 12/noon, unless otherwise discussed with the Associate or Executive Director. Each guest will be asked to fill out an evaluation before departure to help improve the stay for future guests.

What should I bring to the retreat?

Can I bring my pet to Luther Park?
Luther Park does not allow pets or animals in the buildings, except for the Welcome Center main level/office area. Only certified service animals are allowed inside buildings. Please let the camp staff know ahead of time that you are bringing a service animal. Pets may be brought to camp with pre-approval from the Executive or Associate Director, but they are to stay outside or in one’s car (safely). Pets must be controlled and cleaned up by their owners. Any damages caused by the pet, are to be covered by the pet’s owner. An invoice will be sent to the pet owner after the time of stay.

To accommodate our guests, we offer flexible options for rescheduling or partial refunds if cancellations are made within a reasonable timeframe. Our policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our staff. While we strive to be as accommodating as possible, we also ask for your understanding in respecting our need to manage our operations efficiently. We encourage you to reach out to us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your booking. The earlier we know, the more options we can offer to support you. Our cancellation policy is stated below.

- Cancellation More Than 60 Days Before Arrival: Full refund of deposit minus a $100 administrative fee.
- Cancellation Between 30-60 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Arrival: No refund of the deposit. However, the deposit can be applied to a future booking within one year, subject to availability.
- Changes in Group Size: Any reduction in group size must be communicated at least 14 days before arrival; otherwise, you will be charged for the original group size provided. Increases in group size will be charged accordingly.
Do I have to be a member of a church to plan a retreat?
Absolutely not! We host many different types of groups including, but not limited to, women's groups, men's groups, family reunions, crafting/quilting/scrapbooking groups, choral retreats, river trips, mission trips and friend groups. Everyone is welcome at Luther Park!

To be an ACA Accredited Camp, Luther Park takes part in a thorough review of our day-to-day operations every five years. This review is to make sure we are following hundreds of established guidelines of ACA's. ACA collaborates with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Red Cross to assure the most up-to-date camp standards. These guidelines include everything from our staff qualifications, our programs and policies, to the health and safety of campers and staff. Luther Park is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), the country’s leading professional accreditation organization for camps.
