Bike-a-Thon 2023 Information
General Information
At Luther Park we think it's important that everyone has the opportunity to come to camp, no matter their financial situation. With the funds raised from the Bike-a-Thons, we are able to make sure that everyone can receive subsized or scholarshipped help that asks. A full week of camp costs $625. In 2022, 62% of campers asked for financial assistance of some kind. We only expect this percentage to grow as costs continue to rise. Bike-a-Thon participants like you are ambassadors of Luther Park's mission and help make camp possible for many families! All fundraising goes directly to making Luther Park's ministry possible.

- Bike with others locally or own your own - May 20th-June 4th, 2023
- Bike with others to Luther Park - June 3rd-4th, 2023

Direct People to donate through the Luther Park Links
- Tell sponsor to go to www.lutherparkdanbury.com/donate .
- Tell sponsors to put in the notes/memo who they are supporting the "Messiah Bike-a-thon" or whatever church or participant so that we can more accurately keep track.
- If you want to keep updated on who is donating, please contact Leah and she will keep you updated!
Personal Fundraising Page on Mighty Cause
- Go to https://www.mightycause.com/organization/Luther-Park .
- Click on the “fundraise” tab.
- You can create a personal “Fundraiser” page OR you may decide to create a “Team” fundraising page with other members of your church.
- When asked “Where will the funds go?” make sure you search and click “Luther Park Inc.” in Danbury, WI.
- From here you get to customize your page. Make sure you set a goal (it doesn’t have to be as high as your overall goal if you are planning on fundraising in different ways). Choose the name of the Fundraiser to be called something Like “[YOUR NAME]’s Luther Park Bike-a-Thon Fundraiser.” A logo and a short “story” description are under the “donate” tab, labeled “Bike-a-Thon” on the website.
Setting up your own Fundraising Event on Facebook
- Go to www.facebook.com/fundraiser .
- Under “Raise Money,” click “Choose a Non-Profit”
- Search for “Luther Park Inc.” in Danbury, WI
- From here you get to customize your page. Make sure you set a goal (it doesn’t have to be as high as your overall goal if you are planning on fundraising in different ways). You can change the name of the Fundraiser to be called something Like “[YOUR NAME]’s Luther Park Bike-a-Thon Fundraiser.” An example of a short description and a cover photo are under the “donate” tab, labeled “Bike-a-Thon” on the website.
