High School Leadership Trainee Information
Pre-summer, June 18-21, 2026 (with opportunity to volunteer throughout the summer)
You will spend time in a variety of different sessions that will focus on communication, listening, helping, group management, and so much more. You should expect to learn more about yourself and how you can be a leader both at camp and at home!

A Peek at the Schedule:
Thursday: 4:00pm Arrival & Health Checks 5:30pm Dinner 6:15pm Introduction to Camp 6:45pm Training Session During these times you will discuss and learn topics that will enhance your leadership ability! 8:30pm Campfire Bring the evening to a close in song and story! 9:15pm Last Word Let’s end our day together with God! 10:00pm Lights Out! Friday & Saturday: 8:15am First Word Let’s start our day together with God! 8:30am Breakfast 9:15am Morning Worship Sing fun songs, see a skit, hear a story, pray and learn about our theme for the day! 9:45am Clean Scene 10:15am Training Session 12:25pm Mealtime Grace on the Deck 12:30pm Lunch 1:15pm F.O.B (flop on bunk) You don’t need to sleep, but we all could use some quiet time to recharge during our busy days! 2:00pm Canteen/Freetime You chose during this time! Buy a treat or camp gear at canteen, swim/boat, go to arts & crafts, or play! 3:30pm Training Session 5:15pm Deck Gathering Competitions & Grace 5:30pm Dinner 6:15pm Training Session 7:30pm Game Time 8:30pm Campfire Worship 9:15pm Last Word 10:00pm Lights out! **Note Saturday evening’s dinner will be a banquet & we will do a variety show following! Sunday 8:15am First Word 8:30am Breakfast 9:15am Clean Scene 9:15am Morning Worship & Closing Session 11:00am Pick up (if you are going home) 12:30pm Lunch 1:00pm Staff & LT meeting for the week 3:00pm Campers arrive!!!! Variety show will happen on Saturday and/or on Thursday night of camp. This is your invitation to share a talent, sing a song, play an instrument, do a dance, perform in a skit or whatever else you, your friends or cabin group come up with. You don’t have to make any decisions about what you do or don’t want to do until the day of the variety show, but you can start thinking now! Canteen

Packing List
Medications
Please bring all medications taken routinely with your camper(s) to camp. Please pack enough to last the entire time at camp. Keep it in the original packaging/bottle that identifies the prescribing physician (if a prescription, the name of the medication, the dosage, and the frequency of administration. For everyone’s safety ALL medications brought to camp including prescription, over-the-counter, medicated creams and ointments will be kept in the Med Shed. Depending on the allergy, an EPI pen and Inhaler may be with the child and/or their counselor at all times. Leave at Home
We ask that you leave the following items at home. If they are found, they will be taken away until your ride comes to pick you up.
