Supporting the Work of Luther Park
Bible Camp

How the club got its name
One of the most beautiful and popular areas of Luther Park is the point of land which juts out into the lake. Here the people gather for worship, inspiration and relaxation. The point is a landmark from lake and shore.

To further set apart this unique spot, a cross stands as a symbol of the mission of Luther Park and the reason for the ministry’s very existence. Thousands of people have been pointed to the way of the cross while gathered at the camp.

It is most appropriate that the people who provide leadership gift support for this Christ-centered ministry be honored by belonging to the group named after this special place at camp — The Point and Cross Club.

Your Invitation
The board of directors of Luther Park has established The Point and Cross Club as an opportunity for people to assure the ministry of Luther Park will have sufficient financial resources to flourish in service.

You are cordially invited and challenged to be part of this vibrant group of concerned people by providing annual gift support to the ministry. It is easy to join. Your gift of $100 or more enrolls you for the calendar year.

Members of the Point and Cross Club also help Luther Park:

  • by telling others about the ministry, how people are strengthened in their faith and how the church is served;
  • by encouraging others, by their own involvement and example, to support the ministry;
  • by enabling others to make use of the programs and activities offered by Luther Park.

Luther Park says thank you to members by returning to them a number of benefits:

  • a beautiful personalized plaque;
  • a special newsletter, Reflections, which informs them of camp news and plans;
  • inclusion in the honor roll listing of members;
  • a festive get-together of members each year;
  • tax savings for their Point and Cross Club gifts;
  • above all, the deep satisfaction of knowing they are keeping a vital ministry of the church strong and effective in the lives of people.
