Canoe Camp
Week 3: July 13-18, 2025
You will spend time in a variety of different sessions that will focus on communication, listening, helping, group management, and so much more. You should expect to learn more about yourself and how you can be a leader both at camp and at home!

A Peek at the Schedule:
Spend Sunday night at camp, then head out on the river early Monday morning. Return to camp Thursday evening for Luther Park’s Banquet Dinner and Variety show. Thursday Night 5:30pm Banquet Dress up and have a nice, last dinner with camp! 6:45pm Variety Show Share a talent, perform a skit, play some music, or cheer on your fellow campers! 8:30pm Campfire 9:30pm Lights Out! Friday Morning 8:00am Wake up, Pack up, Clean up 9:30am Last Canteen & Evaluations 10:00am Camp Brunch 10:30am Last Canteen & Evaluations 11:15am Closing Worship 12:00pm Depart Variety Show
Variety show will happen on Saturday and/or on Thursday night of camp. This is your invitation to share a talent, sing a song, play an instrument, do a dance, perform in a skit or whatever else you, your friends or cabin group come up with. You don’t have to make any decisions about what you do or don’t want to do until the day of the variety show, but you can start thinking now! Canteen
Each day you will have the opportunity to visit the canteen where you can buy an ice cream treat, piece of candy, drink and/or camp gear. To see what camp gear we are selling, click here. Medications
Please bring all medications taken routinely with your camper(s) to camp. Please pack enough to last the entire time at camp. Keep it in the original packaging/bottle that identifies the prescribing physician (if a prescription, the name of the medication, the dosage, and the frequency of administration. For everyone’s safety ALL medications brought to camp including prescription, over-the-counter, medicated creams and ointments will be kept in the Med Shed. Depending on the allergy, an EPI pen and Inhaler may be with the child and/or their counselor at all times. Leave at Home
We ask that you leave the following items at home. If they are found, they will be taken away until your ride comes to pick you up.

Packing Guidelines:
Note on Footwear We enforce a “Wet Foot Policy”, which means we protect our boats by only loading & unloading while they are floating in the water. We also require shoes while swimming. This means the one pair of shoes is GUARANTEED to get wet. We recommend bringing one pair of “wet shoes” and one pair of “dry shoes” for use in the campsite. All shoes must strap securely to feet.
